Late last month we were excited to share how Beforeplay.org has been making news across the state. Now, we’re thrilled to share the national coverage we’re receiving too It’s all great because it helps to get more people talking and normalizing the conversation around birth control, pregnancy and STDs. Here’s some highlights of where you may have seen Beforeplay.org get covered:
- Martha Kempner from RH Reality Check, an online community and publication committed to advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights, wrote that Beforeplay.org “serves as a hub of information” to help young adults “think critically about their sexual health and plan for their future.”
- Jezebel, a blog covering gossip, culture, fashion, and sex for the contemporary woman, wrote a post to thank the Colorado Department of Public Health for supporting Beforeplay.org. They hope “the other 49 states follow Colorado’s example.”
- Our friends at Bedsider.org are giving us some love on their Tumblr account, too, by showing off our video of Coloradans sharing who they talk to about sexual health. But their latest post commends Beforeplay.org for tailoring great resources to Coloradans.
- Oscio.org, the online hub dedicated to social advertising and non-profit campaigns, calls Beforeplay.org, an important campaign from Colorado that “seeks to initiate more conversation about sexual health and family planning.”
We could say we are blushing from all the attention, but let’s be honest; we’re not uncomfortable or shy about these topics. We feel like everyone should Just Talk About It!
